Another Busy Week

It has been another busy week in the Tigers' and Cubs' class!

The children lead a lot of the learning in the class and this week they decided they would like a builders yard and vets to explore. We worked together as teams to build our new role play areas and the finished results are fantastic.

We have also been pushing ourselves to move our learning on independently. This has included painting portraits of teddies, being carefully skilled to use water colour paints effectively. Also, exploring magnetic numbers. Many of us were able to order them and also find matching Numicon shapes to show their value.

Super work Tigers and Cubs!

Christmas Craft Cafe

On Friday 30th November 2018 we held a Christmas Craft cafe where families were invited to join us to make crafts to be sold at the Christmas fair. The Tigers and Cubs made bauble sun catchers, stockings, bead wreaths and Christmas tree decorations.  We all worked really hard and made lots of money for our fantastic school.

Malawi Federation Day

We were joined by our friends from Sutton and Hickling on Tuesday for a Federation Day. We learnt all about life in Malawi, including stories, art and craft. We had a really enjoyable day and the sun shone. We were even lucky enough to share a picnic lunch as a Federation.

It's a little bit muddy!!!

Some pictures to make you smile this week on our blog! We are so proud that as a school outdoor learning is at the core at what we do. Our richest and most inspiring learning experiences often come from when we are in our wonderful natural surroundings. It seems that word is getting around about our love of outdoor learning and we even had a visit from Countryfile this week! Watch this space to find out more!
