It's a little bit muddy!!!

Some pictures to make you smile this week on our blog! We are so proud that as a school outdoor learning is at the core at what we do. Our richest and most inspiring learning experiences often come from when we are in our wonderful natural surroundings. It seems that word is getting around about our love of outdoor learning and we even had a visit from Countryfile this week! Watch this space to find out more!

Rapunzel, Rapunzel let down your hair.

This week we have set up a stage in our classroom. Our focus text is Rapunzel and the children were really keen setting up props and costumes for their story re-enactments. We started with the first scene and children designed and created their own props for the witches garden. This included flowers, a blackberry bush and vegetable garden. The children had to think carefully about the resources they needed and the techniques they could use. Their ability to work as a team was outstanding!

Our New Library

Our library is now ready for us to use. It has been beautifully decorated with a 'space' theme and lovely new book shelves have been brought. It's like a whole new room! This week we all went in to use it for the first time. We loved exploring and sharing the wonderful books with our friends and can't wait to go in again.
